Our investment strategy will be guided by the objectives set out in the strategy document which prioritise investments and are designed to make the most effective use of available resources.
We do however, recognise that we will need to explore all sources of finance and develop innovative funding approaches where appropriate, as the ambitions of our strategy likely exceed the levels of capital and finance previously available.
SIB will play a vital role in facilitating collaboration and engagement between departments, industry and citizens regarding investment in our infrastructure.
To that end, we will expand upon our current delivery tracking system with a new portfolio management system. This will ensure there is an accurate and timely picture of the state of each major project. This will be accessible to the Executive, Ministers, Assembly Committees, officials, the private sector and the public.
